Sultan Al Salem & Sons Named SilverCat Dealer in Kuwait During UAE Signing Ceremony
SilverCat welcomes Sultan Al Salem & Sons to its dealer network in Kuwait, reinforcing the brand’s presence in one of the Gulf’s most established boating markets.
The agreement was signed during an official ceremony at the shipyard in the UAE on 24 June 2026. Mr. Abdullah Al Salem, Director and Owner of Sultan Al Salem & Sons, travelled from Kuwait to the UAE to formalise the partnership in person. The signing was attended by Mohammed Hussein Alshaali, Chairman of Gulf Craft, and Erwin Bamps, CEO of Gulf Craft.
The appointment marks a new chapter for SilverCat in Kuwait, bringing the brand together with a partner that has deep roots in the country’s marine industry. Sultan Al Salem & Sons is widely known in the Kuwaiti market through its long-standing association with Yamaha, including marine engines and personal watercraft.
SilverCat is especially relevant to Kuwait. Built around a wide catamaran platform, the brand offers generous deck areas, excellent hull stability and a confident experience underway. The range is designed for regular use on the water, making it well suited to the practical expectations of Gulf boaters whose life on the water revolves around sports fishing and family cruising.
Mohammed Hussein Alshaali, Chairman of Gulf Craft, said: “Kuwait has always been an important market for Gulf Craft. Its boat owners have a strong understanding of the sea and a clear appreciation for performance vessels that are reliable and built for real use. Sultan Al Salem & Sons is a respected name with a long presence in the marine sector, and that makes them a strong partner to represent SilverCat in Kuwait.”
Mr. Abdullah Al Salem, Director and Owner of Sultan Al Salem & Sons, said: “We are proud to represent SilverCat in Kuwait and to partner with Gulf Craft, a regional builder with a strong reputation and a clear understanding of Gulf boating. SilverCat is very well matched to our market. We look forward to supporting the brand’s growth in Kuwait.
